Visit the Farm

Safety is of utmost importance here at Martin Woods Farm. We aspire to teach our patrons and students how to be safe around the farm while enjoying themselves.

Proper Barn Attire:

The barn is an outdoor environment and no matter the weather we enjoy showing our guests around. In order to keep everyone safe and comfortable we suggest bringing multiple layers of clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Closed toed shoes are a must, whether it be sturdy sneakers or our preferred footwear, boots. 

If you are out to the farm to work with the horses we require you borrow one of our helmets or bring your own. We also require you to wear some kind of a heeled boot while riding for safety. We would also prefer no excessively loose or baggy clothing be worn around the farm for wearer’s safety.

Release Forms:

If you have come to our farm for a trail ride, lesson or to work with the horses we require all riders to sign a release form. This is just so that both instructor, patrons and students agree on the same safety measures. The risk and release form can be found on the important documents tab on our website.
